I am reminded  that for much of the world, what is history for us goes unspoken! Indeed, there are peoples who live with massive repression! Let’s not talk about that! Let’s not even THINK about that! Indeed, that is a way of life for perhaps most of the people in the world!

I’m fortunate indeed to be among the lucky who are able to think about thinking,  and to notice many things:

    1. People cope by not thinking, not even recognizing!

     2.There is anger at those who think. Those who bother remembering!

     3.There is more anger at those who remember, and more still at those who suggest that remembering is important.

     4. It seems "realistic" and important and virtuous to be able to narrow one’s thinking!

     5. Don’t make trouble! It is right to be angry at those who re-mind us of what we conspire to forget—these things are and should be forgotten, unspoken!
