I\u2019ve written about this in a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.blatner.com\/adam\/pdntbk\/ceremonies.html\">paper on my website<\/a>,&#160;&#160;&#160; a chapter in my anthology, Interactive &amp; Improvisational Drama, and also posted a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.interactiveimprov.com\/ritualswb.html\">supplement on my website for that book<\/a>. They\u2019ve got a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.celebrantinstitute.org\/\">national organization for training people<\/a> who can serve as consultants for this, just like wedding or funeral consultants\u2014but they are more open to innovation and individualizing the process to fit your need. The types of rituals you can generate is also mind-opening! <\/p>\n<p>All this is just one example of the many ways we can expand our imagination and empower ourselves to celebrate in many ways. Another approach I\u2019ve been writing about (and am doing a little workshop about) is promoting the singing of simple chants and songs.
