Boy, do I need to surrender. There\u2019s a real type of effort in psychically \u201cletting go,\u201d though. It\u2019s only vaguely an act of will, or maybe non-will. But it\u2019s not the same as \u201ctrying,\u201d much less \u201ctrying harder.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s 99% beyond me, that I realize, the 1% being that I know I should go in this direction, at least regarding my own path. Following some demagogue mindlessly is following his chicken-shit, and in that case take these ambiguous words as negative. But following my own path, though, it speaks to surrender.
