The point to be made is that the unconscious mind is super-fast, really should be called perhaps the \u201csuper-conscious,\u201d and has no difficulty manufacturing (confabulating) meanings that to some degree make sense, even if upon looking again, no, it doesn\u2019t. All these phenomena speak to the capacity of the mind to make sense out of what does not intrinsically make sense.
