It\u2019s a variation of my entertaining elves and fairies, a celebration of imaginativeness. <\/p>\n<p>Another cartoon from this same comic book that I picked up at a comic convention is this one:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/blatner.com\/adam\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/samhurtpoem.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" title=\"samhurtpoem\" style=\"border-top: 0px; border-right: 0px; background-image: none; border-bottom: 0px; padding-top: 0px; padding-left: 0px; border-left: 0px; display: inline; padding-right: 0px\" border=\"0\" alt=\"samhurtpoem\" src=\"http:\/\/blatner.com\/adam\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/samhurtpoem_thumb.jpg\" width=\"600\" height=\"408\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>This is taken from a classical text on mysticism, which takes off on Plato\u2019s metaphor of the cave. (You can look it up.)
