Allee said, Your writings are you \u201c<em>offspring-ings<\/em>\u201d and I later had the thought, \u201cVerily, the are my \u201c<em>kid-lings<\/em>.\u201d (Well, I didn\u2019t say <em>verily<\/em>, but you get the idea.) <\/p>\n<p>I enjoy writing. The visiting kids (grandchildren of a sick friend) think I\u2019m surfing the web. They can\u2019t conceive of real people writing essays. Allee reminded me that indeed I do enjoy writing and my writings and that\u2019s my dharma.<\/p>\n<p>Getting used to being different; I didn\u2019t try to be this way; I can\u2019t help it. Worse, I didn\u2019t even know that many&#8212;most&#8212;others cannot and don\u2019t like t do this. It\u2019s all part of accepting my dharma without shame. I\u2019m just a little different, and I reassure myself with the idea that everyone is a little or a lot in different ways. Some of us catch on rather late in life to this fairly obvious fact, one you think about it.
